Area churches have supported KARE through participation in the Souper Bowl of Caring, whose mission is uniting all communities to tackle hunger. On Super Bowl Sunday, our staff is on hand to collect items collected by organizations, individuals, churches, schools, and businesses. We then report the collection to Tackle Hunger, the national organization who coordinates the collection. We also typically run sales in the clothing store to coincide with the campaign and offer big savings to individuals who donate pantry items.
